Every film stock is a theory about light. Portra believes light is forgiving. Velvia believes it's a performance. Tri-X believes it's a fact. The photograph is the same scene — the chemistry is the editorial voice.
These simulations use CSS filters to approximate emulsion behavior: contrast curves, color response, saturation latitude. Grain is rendered via SVG fractal noise at different intensities. Not a lab. A translation.
